Start With Understanding Your Hair Loss.
“Will PRP work for me?” is usually not the best first question. Hair loss can happen for different reasons, and two people with similar-looking thinning can need completely different advice.
Before recommending treatment, we want to understand:
• When the change started and whether it was sudden or gradual.
• The pattern and areas affected.
• Relevant health changes and medication.
• Family history and previous hair treatments.
• What you would realistically like to improve.
Sometimes PRP may belong in the plan. Sometimes the right next step is to wait, monitor or seek further medical assessment. The consultation should make the decision clearer either way.

Your Hair Treatment Journey
01
Consult
We review the timeline, pattern, health history, medication, family history and your goals.
02
Assess
Your practitioner assesses the visible areas of concern and explains whether PRP is a reasonable option or whether another assessment should come first.
03
Treat
Your practitioner assesses the visible areas of concern and explains whether PRP is a reasonable option or whether another assessment should come first.
04
Review
Hair changes take time. We use consistent photography and planned reviews to assess progress and discuss whether further or maintenance treatment is appropriate.
What Is PRP?
PRP stands for Platelet-Rich Plasma. A small sample of your own blood is processed in a centrifuge to prepare plasma containing a higher concentration of platelets. The PRP is then carefully delivered into selected areas of the scalp.
PRP has been studied most extensively for androgenetic alopecia, commonly known as male or female pattern hair loss. Research suggests it may improve hair density for some appropriately selected patients, but results vary and it should never be presented as a guaranteed cure for hair loss.

Why We Include Professional LED Light Therapy
Where suitable, your PRP appointment also includes professional LED light therapy as an adjunctive part of the treatment session. We do not treat LED as a replacement for assessment or as something every patient automatically needs. It is considered within your individual plan.
Who Might Consider PRP?
PRP may be discussed for selected adult men and women with gradual pattern hair thinning where viable follicles remain, including:
• Reduced density around the crown or top of the scalp.
• A widening parting.
• Gradual male or female pattern thinning.
• Selected receding areas where hair remains present.
PRP is not the right first step for every form of hair loss.
Sudden loss, patchy loss, significant scalp symptoms, possible scarring, major recent health changes or unexplained shedding may require further medical assessment before cosmetic treatment.
Natural-Looking Change Takes Time
PRP is not designed to produce an overnight transformation. Hair follows a biological growth cycle, so where improvement occurs it develops gradually. That is why we use consistent photography and planned reviews rather than making decisions from daily mirror checks or photographs taken under completely different lighting.
• No guaranteed-regrowth claims.
• No one-size-fits-all treatment promises.
• Progress reviewed over months, not days.
• Treatment can be adjusted or stopped if it is not appropriate to continue.
