NATIONAL SMILE MONTH

National Smile Month is the UK’s largest campaign to promote

Good Oral Health!!

Together, with thousands of individuals and organisations, National Smile Month helps to deliver three key messages…

They are:

  • Brush your teeth twice per day – last thing at night and on at least one other occasion with a fluoride toothpaste (E.g.Colgate Total)
  • Cut down on how often you have sugary foods and drinks (It’s not quantity its Frequency)
  • Visit your dentist regularly, as often as they recommend (We like to see our patients every 3-6 months)
The Organisation
The aim of National Smile Month is to ultimately improve the UK’s oral health.

Organised by oral health charity, the Oral Health Foundation, this campaign helps raise awareness of important health issues and to make a positive difference to the oral health of millions.

So why not GET INVOLVED !!

Me and the team are not only promoting “National Smile Month” at the practice but we have also entered into the “Smileathon” .

What is the SMILEATHON ??

The aim is to snap as many selfies throughout the day with a “Smiley” and post on social media

via Instagram, Twitter, facebook

Simply @smilemonth into the caption and hashtag #mysmileyselfie  & #smileathon

The BEST photos will be published into the charities awareness booklets throughout the UK

So gather up a few friends, family members or the work team and join in the fun.
